Our approach to fitness

Ascend Strength & Fitness was founded from humble beginnings to provide the Canberra community an all inclusive fitness club focused on the members. The facilities include a kid’s crèche, shower and change facilities, dedicated parking, personal and group training, Supplements and health meals.

We have created three distinct zones in each level of the gym with the latest fitness equipment dedicated to covering all aspects of health & fitness

The ground floor is an open floor plan, designed for functional training and group training classes. This also includes power cages with lifting platforms for the heavy strength training, as well as kettle bells, sleds, boxing equipment, TRX’s and much more for any functional/HIIT style training. All group fitness classes are run on the ground floor and are all-inclusive for our members.

Our middle floor has all brand new cardio equipment as well as a dedicated stretching/abs area with mats, med balls, abs machines, cables and more. Ranging from treadmills and X-Trainers to bikes and steppers, Ascend S&F has your cardio needs covered!

Our 3rd floor is dedicated to everything ‘strength and resistance’ including the latest pin-loaded and plate-loaded strength machines plus squat racks, bench presses, dumbbells ranging from 5lbs to 150lbs, cables, and much, much more.

Our Team

I've been attending Ascend for a while now and I absolutely love it. I have previously had some bad experiences at gyms but Ascend is kind of like a family, where the staff really care about your experience. I especially love the ground floor area with the squat racks and sled track-SO GOOD! I also love that they support Mums Exercise Group Australia (MEGA), by having classes exclusively for mums. The lifting class with Ariel is the best! Thanks for the squat gains!
